We are opening our doors to the first of what we hope to be many open-source projects we will launch based off of new and future technologies. This specific technology allows you to display a progress bar upload interface to a client as they are uploading a file inside a normal web page. This open-source GPL script is free for you to use commercially or privately so long as you follow the guidelines of the GPL v3 license.

• The Problem:

  Your website needs to accept files from clients that are beyond 50 MB in size. Some of your clients are complaining because they see no progress as the file uploads. Their browsers just wait and wait as the file uploads.

• The Solution:

  Show the users their upload progress by tying (hooking) into the underlying programatic routines. This can be accomplished using PHP, APC cache, and Javascript.

MassMirror Uploader is a PHP script that allows developers to display a progress bar during a file upload within clients browsers using nothing more then javascript, PHP, and APC cache (A PHP PECL EXTENSION).This has been tested to work on all major current browsers.
